Dizzy Dizzy Dizzy

Ever since I started walking and climbing everywhere Mama and Daddy have been trying to slow me down. I guess if i can't walk I am slowed down... right??? Mama, Daddy and I play a really fun game called ring around the rosie! When the game is done we all fall on the floor, giggle, and then try to walk.  Mama and Daddy are really good at the game because they can walk right away, however I'm still learning.  I hope you can enjoy this video of me playing the game.

I love Lucy

Yesterday Mama and I had a girls night, which meant we got to go to our favorite place, TARGET!

I was so excited, Mama let me pick out a new baby.  Every day at daycare daddy drops me off and I go straight to the babies, I love playing with them.  We went to the baby section first to pick out my baby.  The entire rest of the shopping trip I sat in the cart and played with her, I couldn't wait to get home to play with her.  Mama said I was very cute, I kept saying "Baby!" to everybody we passed.  Let me introduce you to Lucy.

She is about 13 inches tall, has blonde hair and big blue eyes, like me!  I am a very good little mama.  She was cold when we brought her home, here is a picture of me covering her with her blankie.

She is a very hungry girl, she likes milk the best.

After her bottle I had to get a wash cloth to wipe her face off.  She can be a messy eater.

And then we got to play!  She is too little to go on the slide by herself so I had to help.

I wonder what store Mama and Daddy got me from, I sure hope it was Target, they have VERY good babies there.

Time to go, Lucy needs to go to bed.

You can call me Garfield

For those of you who don't know, my tummy doesn't like dairy very well.  I can have a little, but if I get too much I get a really bad tummy ache.  This dairy sensitivity has made it a little more difficult for mama to make some of her favorite foods.  Turns out, mama uses a lot of cheese and cream of mushroom soup.

Mama was getting bored with the standard dinner meals we have been having over the past few months so mama ventured into the Health Foods area at HyVee again to see if she could come up with something new.

Lasagna was taken off the dinner menu because of all the cheese, but mama found a cheese substitute called Veggie Shreds (mama promised me it wasn't made out of veggies...)  It Was DELICIOUS!!

I don't know how mama does it, but it seems like she always makes messy meals on nights that just happen to be bath night.  Daddy had a lot of scrubbing to do!!

I would share the recipe, but if you know anything about my mama you know that recipes don't really exist.  Plus, because I don't need to go completely dairy free the recipe can't really be called dairy free and I don't want to mislead anybody who might stumble across it.

Mama also made Cream of Chicken today...I'll let you know how that turns out soon!!

Easter

As promised, here are some Easter pictures!

Saturday Mama, Daddy and I went to Rochester and took part in the Gloria Dei Easter Egg Hunt.  There were TONS of eggs and I had a great time.

I really enjoyed picking up the eggs, opening them, dumping out the stuff inside, closing the egg and then putting it in my pail.  I'm not really sure why they all had stuff in them, it is an egg hunt, not a candy hunt...

After the egg hunt we all sat down and played with our Easter Eggs.  Somebody brought bubbles so we played with those too!  I really wanted to blow the bubbles, but I couldn't quite figure it out, I did enjoy watching the big kids pop them though!

Sunday we had almost everybody over to our house for Easter.  Great Grandma Joan, Grandma Carolyn, Grandpa Tim, Auntie Megan and Tommy, Grandma Nancy, Grandpa Bob, Auntie Heidi, and Daddy's Uncle Paul.  It was a very busy day.  I got a lot of playtime in with everybody.  Here is a picture of Mama, Daddy and me at church.

It was a great weekend.  I can't wait to wear my pretty dress again!

Jane Fonda's got nothing on my Leg Warmers

That's right Ladies and Gentlemen...Leg Warmers are back in style and they don't get any cuter than this!!

Right now I only have two pairs...I am working on mama to get me some more.  Aren't I so cute!?!?

APRIL FOOLS!

No need to fear, I don't have a broken arm...pretty funny April Fools joke though!

Mama told me it was too mean to joke about that, but it was just too much fun!

Instead of spending the day at the ER, mama, daddy, Grandma Carolyn, Grandpa Tim and I went to the zoo for mama's birthday.  Their farm opened this weekend and we just had to check it out.  I really liked petting the goat, he was really soft.  The baby chicks were cute too.  Mama said I was a very good girl and very gentle with the baby animals.

The only animal I didn't like was the chickens, one of them bit my finger and I was not happy.  I told her, "No No!"

Off to Chipotle to celebrate mama's birthday!
