Meeting the Easter bunny was pretty neat, but Easter is full of all sorts of fun traditions.
We got to go to Grandma Nancy's church again this year for their annual Easter Egg Hunt. It is so much fun, there are TONS of eggs everywhere for us to find.
Ellen didn't really understand the egg hunt thing, she just wanted to play in the empty egg bin and open all of the empty eggs.
Of course, the Easter bunny came to our house while we were sleeping. Ellen got some great books, an other fun toys. I got new dance shoes and a dance skirt!
He hid eggs all over the house, he told Mama that all of the blue eggs are for Ellen, and the rest of the eggs are for me. I'm not sure how Mama got to talk to the Easter bunny, but she was right, all of the blue eggs had baby things inside.
On Sunday we went to church in our Easter dresses. Once again, Mama made baby Katie a matching dress. Everybody loved seeing us in our dresses.
For Easter dinner, Mama made triple berry pie, with extra cool whip. Papa Bob would be so proud!!
Ellen wasn't so sure about it at first...
but after one taste...
she LOVED it!!!!
I think pie and cool whip might be Ellen's favorite food!
No holiday would be complete without a craft. Mama and I made some fun eggs where you take a balloon, cover it in glue and then put string over the top. It didn't work very well but we had fun getting all sticky. And Ellen enjoyed watching us.
Hope you all had a great Easter!
