We have been up to a lot lately, but I thought I should update on our trip to Mexico.
We were all pretty excited to wake up REALLY early and fly to Mexico. Mama said I was a great traveler and played with my books and toys the whole way. Ellen enjoyed the flight too and took a great nap. She also had fun smiling and waving at all the people as they walked by.
When we left Minnesota it was cold and there was snow on the ground, but once we got to Mexico I was glad Mama had our Mexico dresses because it was BEAUTIFUL!
Ellen really liked the beach and playing in the sand. It was a lot of fun until she started to eat it...
Our resort was pretty great, we could take a boat back and forth between the two properties. We all had a great time!
We spent a lot of time playing at the pool. Ellen loved splashing in the water and trying to walk around in her raft.
I loved jumping in and practicing my floating. After a week in the water I learned to float on my back all by myself!
Of course, Mama needed lots of pictures of us at the beach, here is one of her favorites of me...
and one of her favorites of Ellen, isn't the water beautiful?
I really liked getting to paint a turtle for Grandma Carolyn and a fish for Ellen.
It was really great to be able to be outside all the time, Mama even let me take a nap outside!!
Vacation was made even better because we got to spend time with our good friends Kristi, Mike and Baby David.
Baby David is just a little older than Ellen. He had a great time playing in the pool too. He brought some great pool toys and even shared them with me!
Even though the rafts were for the babies, I had a great time playing on them too. It was pretty tricky to try to climb on top, and really fun to flip off!
Mama and Daddy brought a snorkel for me to play with in the pool. It was really fun to get to breathe under water. Ellen wanted to try it but it was too tricky so she just chewed on it.
One of my favorite things was that I got to get my hair braided! Mama helped me pick out some pretty flowers. That night we went to a fancy restaurant and I got to eat lobster!
I was pretty bummed that I couldn't watch Survivor while we were in Mexico, but I felt like I was on the show when Mama got me a coconut to drink out of! I didn't really like the water inside the coconut so Mama poured it out and filled it with my fruit punch.
We had a great time. I can't wait until our next big adventure!
