What Do You Do When it Hits 25 Degrees in January?

What do you do when it hits 25 degrees in January?  Why of course, you go for a scooter ride to the park!!

Of course, Ellen didn't ride her scooter, but she did love having a stroller ride.  Once we got to the park it was a bit tough to play with our Winter gear on, but we made the best of it!

It looks like we are going to have a bunch of great days coming up, I can't wait!!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Big day today!  I turned 5!!!  I couldn't believe it, the fun started before I even got out of bed!  My whole room was filled with balloons, streamers, and twirly ribbons!  I knew today was going to be a great day.

When I got upstairs I immediately wanted to open my presents.  Did you know that when you are 5 you can chew bubble gum!?!  It was awesome.  Mama said that I had 8 pieces of gum today...I am pretty sure it was at least 10 or 11...

I also got a couple puzzles and a lot of project stuff because I love projects!!!  The spin art machine was defiantly my favorite!

Mama and Daddy make sure to make our birthdays a very special day so of course I had a chocolate covered sprinkle doughnut with candles for breakfast.  I was so excited that Mama and Daddy sang me Happy Birthday!

After we took Ellen to daycare we headed off to Welch Village to go skiing!  I had a great time and was so happy that it was so much warmer today than it has been the past week.  I did so great that Mama and Daddy could ride their snowboards because they didn't have to help me at all!

For supper we went to my favorite place to eat, Olivia's Family Restaurant!  They have really yummy breakfast food, and the BEST birthday dessert...CHOCOLATE CAKE!!!!!!!!!  I really like the birthday song so Mama and Daddy sang to me again.

When we got home we had my official birthday cake...did you know that I really like cake? and I Really like blowing out candles? and I REALLY like the birthday song???

 Being 5 is pretty great, I know this is going to be an amazing year!

Me and my Baby

Hey Everybody!  Ellen Here!

It has been REALLY cold lately so we have been doing a lot of playing inside.  These days, one of my favorite toys to play with is my baby doll.  I was pretty excited when Mama let me bring my baby stroller inside, I love pushing baby around and pretending I am shopping.  I love my baby so much, I even share my blankie with her!

The other great part about having a stroller is that you have a chair everywhere you go!

Snow Much Fun

Hey Everybody!  Hope your week is going well!

This past weekend Mama decided that we needed to get out of the house so we went sledding!!  It is pretty great that we have a little hill just a few blocks from our house so we could take our wagon.

I really love sledding, and our sled is so great that Mama and Daddy can go with me!

Ellen was pretty excited about it too.  Mama thought she might get scared, but I took great care of her and held on tight!  I tried pulling her back up the hill, but I needed Mama or Daddy's help.  Ellen is too little to walk in the snow with all of her snow gear on, she gets stuck!

The best part was getting to hang out with Mama and Daddy and Ellen.

2015 was a pretty great year, but I am pretty sure that 2016 will be even better.

Mama didn't let Linden and me stay up late to watch the ball drop, so the next day she and Daddy took us to the Mall of America for something fun to do!

Last time I was here I was a TINY baby and I didn't get to go on any rides, not this time!!  Linden let me pick the first ride, and I got to go with Daddy on the Blues Clues ride.

Linden was pretty excited that she got to go all by herself!!

Linden really wanted to go on the roller coasters so Daddy went with her, and Mama hung-out with me on the little rides.  

Not only did Linden go on the big-kid rides, she also got to meet Paw Patrol!  She was pretty excited.

Meanwhile, Mama and I were having a great time.  On the big trucks my horn worked WAY better than Mama's...but I think she was a better driver.

 My favorite ride was the Diego's Adventure bus, it goes up and down and around and around!  I just couldn't contain my squeals and giggle!

At the very end I agreed to sit still long enough to get a good selfie with Mama.

It was a pretty fun day.  Here is looking forward to a pretty amazing 2016,
