3 Month Photos

It is hard to believe that just 2 months ago we were wearing shorts and playing outside, as well as taking pictures to mark Ellen turning 3 months old!

Because Ellen didn't want to blog tonight I thought I would start it out with pictures of me!  Not a whole lot to say, the pictures turned out great and speak for themselves, Ellen is such a big girl!

Hope you enjoyed them,

Ellen Louise - Child of God

A couple weeks ago, Ellen was baptized into God's family and it was a pretty great day!  Lot of family and friends were there to watch and surround her with love.

Ellen was a very good baby and didn't cry the entire time. Here are some pictures from the day:

My favorite part of baptism is when Shelby takes the baby and all the kids get to sit around her and sing a song about coming to see Jesus.  It was a special day for me, because I am the big sister I got to sit right next to them!!

It was great having everybody together.

Ellen and I both have our Aunties as our God Parents.  We love them all so much, we couldn't pick just one!

The baptism gown she wore has been worn by a lot of people, Auntie Wendy, Auntie Heidi, Mama, Cousin Tyler, myself, and now Ellen!

The church has a great tradition where they give each child a Faith box and blanket on the day of their baptism.

Of course, no baptism would be official without cake!  And this time, the bakery got the wording right (remember my baptism??)

Papa Bob wasn't able to join us for baptism so we made a trip to Rochester to see him and show him how cute Ellen looked in her baptism gown.

Have a good night,
Linden

Happy Halloween!

Ellen and I had a great time on Halloween.  We got to bring our costumes to Daycare and we had a Halloween Party!!  When Mama was a little girl Grandma Nancy would make her a spider cake each year so Mama decided to carry on the tradition for me and Ellen.  Isn't it great!!

Before Halloween could begin we had to carve our pumpkins.  Every year Mama has made me a fun pumpkin...My first year I got a cupcake pumpkin and I got to help with a Mrs. Potato Head pumpkin.  The next year I got a Mickey pumpkin and I got to paint.   Last year, Mama made me a Sofia the First pumpkin, and I got to use stickers and light pegs to decorate mine.

This year, I got to use the cutting tools!! With Mama's help, of course!  We all carved pumpkins, except Ellen of course, she was taking a nap.

Mama made and Elsa and Anna pumpkin for me and Ellen.
And I made a Traditional Jack-O-Lantern.  I got to pick the shapes, and Mama drew them on.  Then we did teamwork and cut them out together.

Here are Daddy's spoooookkkkkyyyyyy pumpkins.

Ellen and I dressed up as Elsa and Anna.  Mama made both of our costumes and we had a great time.

I wanted Mama to take a picture of me singing, "Let it Go"

Mama and Ellen didn't go trick-or-treating with me and Daddy, they stayed home and handed out glow sticks and candy.  They don't like the cold very much...

After trick-or-treating I came home and got to warm up with some Hot Chocolate.  Even though the cold doesn't bother Elsa, she can still like a warm cape and some hot chocolate.  Ellen has to wait until next year.

Look at all of the candy I got!!!!

Pumpkin Pickin'

I know, we are still behind, we have just been having so much fun enjoying the good weather, but that is changing, it is supposed to SNOW!!!!

Right before Halloween we made a trip out to the local pumpkin patch.  It was a great Fall day and we had a great time.

This isn't just a pumpkin patch, it was a ton of fun!  Right away when we got there I couldn't wait to go in the bounce house.

It was kind of chilly so Ellen got to dress up in her cozy bear snowsuit.  She was toasty warm!

Ellen really needs to learn to smile when Mama has the camera out, it goes quicker, this was the best picture Mama was able to get, Ellen kept tipping over!!

After we went on a hay ride we got to watch them launch a pumpkin!!  It went really far and was fun to see.

I don't know what I liked more, the hay ride, or the train.

While I was driving around on the train Mama tried getting a picture with Ellen, this was as close to smiling that she got.

Someday Ellen will learn, it is just better smile cute so Mama can get a picture and then you can go back to playing, see...

We had so much fun and Ellen was worn out!

You will have to check back soon to see the pumpkins we got, and the rest of our Halloween Fun!
