Hit the Trails

How is everybody doing tonight?  Wasn't it a great weekend!  

We have been trying to spend as much time outside as we can, which means going for bike rides!!  I still have training wheels on my bike, but I REALLY want to learn to ride without them so that is my goal this summer.  Mama and Daddy think I can do it, but say that it will take lots of practice.

Ellen is still too little for a bike of her own so we still take the trailer out quite a bit.  Ellen does not like her helmet, but once we get moving she usually forgets about it.  

We both really like it when Mama and Daddy go fast!!

My friends at daycare are excited for me to ride a bike without training wheels so I try to practice there when I can.  My friends even try to help me learn!  I really like it when they cheer for me, even when I fall.  I am pretty sure I am already getting better.

Best Friends Forever!

Mama taught me how to make friendship bracelets today!!  She had a whole bag of bracelet string and taught me how to braid, turns out, it is really easy.  Mama said that Auntie Wendy taught her how to make friendship bracelets when she was a little girl.

Look at our cute bracelets.  Mama told me that I can keep it on until it falls off, I can even sleep in it.

I made a third one today for a special friend, I can't wait to meet up with her and give it as a surprise!!

Sweet Dreams

I was looking at Mama's phone and I saw these pictures, evidently she has been sneaking into our room when we sleep!  Mama loves tucking us in before she goes to bed just to make sure we are cozy and having good dreams.

I think it is pretty silly that Ellen and I both sleep the same way!

Isn't she just so sweet when she sleeps?

Happy Mother's Day

Did everybody have a great weekend?  We sure did!!  It was a weekend full of grandma's and fun and of course, celebrating Mama!!

Thursday night grandma Carolyn came down so Mama and Daddy could go to the Wild game.  Ellen and I got to hang out with Grandma all day on Friday, it was great!

Saturday we went to Rochester and had lunch with Grandma Nancy then we went to her house to plant the flowers we got her for Mother's day.

Ellen wasn't a very good helper, she just threw the dirt on the ground and played with the dump trucks.

Grandma said that Mama and I picked out all of her favorite flowers!  She loved them!!

Planting the flowers was a lot of fun, but watering them was even better!!

Of course, on Sunday, it was all about Mama.  I let her pick out our movie and let her sleep in and waited to watch it until she woke up!  It was a pretty great day.
