Mexico: Part 2 - The Pool

We had the COOLEST room when we were in Mexico...You walk out the back door and we had our own POOL!!!!  Look how close this thing was!

To be honest, it wasn't just our pool, we had to share it with a couple people, but it was still amazing.  The first day we were there I spent over 10 hours in the pool, Mama even said my hair was turning green.

While we were playing in the pool Daddy tried teaching me how to snorkel, I think he looked really silly.  Mama said I was too little, and maybe next time we go to Mexico I can try again.

The main pool was pretty cool, it had a huge pirate ship with water slides and fountains!  The shark off to the right is a slide too.  I met a really fun friend named Annabelle, we played together in the pool a lot.  We had a great time!

Here is the pool from the other side

On the other side of the pool they had this big inflatable obstacle course.  By the end of the week I could walk along the wall and make it all the way without falling into the water!  In the picture below I am trying to figure out how to swing on the bar but my hands kept slipping and I fell in a lot! (See the leaves hanging down from the top, that was where Mama spent part of her day, on the covered Bali Bed reading and relaxing!)

I don't want you to get the wrong impression, Mama did come swimming too.  Here is one last picture for the road...

Have a great night, it is Survivor night!!!

Mexico: Part 1 - The Beach

I know Mama promised blog posts over a week ago, but you have to understand that blogging isn't easy!!  Especially when we had so much fun!

I decided to start with blogging about the beach because we had so much fun there!  Unfortunately, Mama didn't take a ton of photos at the beach, but you have to trust me, we had FUN!  Even Baby Katie got to join in.  It is hard to tell because I have my swimming jacket on, but our swimsuits even match!! (the only difference is the color...)

A LOOONNNGGG time ago, my Auntie Wendy started a tradition of writing your name in the sand and Mama has kept the tradition going...

The waves were a ton of fun, although Mama was a little worried that I was going to get washed away...

Maybe she was right...After I nearly died, Daddy decided to take me out further into the ocean where the waves weren't nearly as crazy.

Hi Mama!!!

After playing in the waves we had a great time making sand castles and drawing some more in the sand.  We didn't make it down to the beach every day, but it sure was a highlight when we did!

One last beach photo, to end the blog on a positive note!  Aren't we cute!!!

Adios!

On the Road Again

We have been doing a lot of driving over the past few weeks, and we have seen a lot of family.  It has been Great!!

Last weekend was Auntie Megan and Uncle Tommy's Wedding in Alexandria.  It was a busy weekend but Grandma Carolyn and Grandpa Tim made sure to make plenty of time for me!

I was the Flower Girl so I had a very important job to do.  It was so great having Grandma Nancy, Grandpa Bob, Auntie Heidi, Cousin Tyler, Auntie Missy and especially Auntie Wendy there to help me to make sure I was on my best behavior and looking great!  Mama made my pretty flower girl dress, I was sure a hit!

But to be honest, Auntie Megan stole the show, she was STUNNING! (Uncle Tommy was pretty handsome too!)

The bridesmaids all looked great too.

We had a great time partying late into the night (Mama even let me stay up until after 10!!)  Congratulations to Auntie Megan and Uncle Tommy!!

After a busy weekend of celebrating it has been nice to lay low this weekend and just hang out.  We had to go to Rochester to do some shopping so we stopped by to see Grandma Nancy, Papa Bob and Auntie Heidi.

Have I ever told you how much I love my Papa's, and how much they adore me??  Mama had to run inside for something and when she came out I was snuggled up on Papa's lap.

Today's exciting news is that Mama let me get earrings!!  Don't panic, they aren't real, just temporary tattoos, but I LOVE them!!  I can't wait until I can get real ones!

Happy Labor Day weekend!
