An Update on Baby Wensley

I haven't given an update on Baby Wensley in a while, so here you go!

First of all, I LOVE her name, did you guess that I picked it out?  Every once in a while I overhear Mama tell Daddy that I am going to be sad when I find out her name isn't really Wensley, but I it is such a great name, why would we pick anything else??

Mama got to go to the doctor and see her again and the doctor said she is growing right on track.  Mama started having contractions at 17 weeks so her doctor is keeping a close eye on her, but as of right now everything is going well and there is no cause for concern.

I think Baby Wensley is going to have blue eyes and blonde hair, just like me!  Mama and Daddy think her eyes will turn brown and she will have brown hair like Mama.  Mama says she is really active in her tummy so I think she is going to like gymnastics, just like me.  But I also think she is going to be trouble.  Speaking of Mama's tummy, Wensley sure is growing big!!

Did you know that I have a baby in my belly too?  She is growing big and strong, just like Wensley!

I can't wait for all this snow to melt, Mama told me that Baby Wensley will come live with us once summer is here and when we can go on Papa's boat!

Stay warm!

Do you want to build a snowman?

It has been pretty warm here the past few days, especially considering how cold this winter has been, so when Daddy told me we were getting snow today I didn't believe him.  Man, did it snow!!  This week has been great, we have been able to play outside a couple times.

After dinner it only seemed right to head outside and build a snowman!  Daddy wasn't very helpful, but I think Mama and I did a pretty good job.  We didn't have any carrots or coal for a face, but like Mama always does, she found some pretty good sibstitutes.

The picture was hard to get because the snowflakes were so big, it was really coming down!!

I hope everybody else was able to get out and enjoy the snow before it gets cold again!

Happy Birthday Part 3: Friends

Last post about my birthday, I promise!  But what would a birthday party be without friends?

And what would a Princess Party be without a castle?  Part of the reason we had my party at church was so we could have a BIG Castle Bounce House!!!

Everybody had a great time jumping, although it was a little hard in our princess dresses, but we made it work.

It wasn't all Princesses running around, we did have a couple handsome Pirates in the mix too!

Isn't my friend cute in his pirate eye patch?

Look at our fun tattoos!

I really liked when my friends sang Happy Birthday to me, I felt REALLY special!  And then it was time for us to eat our cupcakes!

We also had fun playing with the parachute and balloons.

And decorating our Treasure Boxes!

I hope you enjoyed getting a backstage tour of my party, we all had a great time!

Happy Birthday Part 2: Party Decorations

It is time to fill you all in on the details of my fantastic Pirate and Princess Birthday!

Mama decided to have it at our church so we would have a lot of room to run around and play, and so we could have lots of friends come and join us!  To make sure the guests could find the party we turned the church into a giant treasure map so my friends could follow it!

The big activity was a treasure hunt.  At each spot there was a note that told us what to do.  If we made it through we got to collect Gold Doubloons, just like on Jake and the Neverland Pirates!

Our first stop was to crawl through the enchanted princess castle...

It was pretty easy so we only got one gold doubloon.

Next we had to walk the pirate plank!  It was pretty tricky to do in my fancy princess shoes, I had to take them off.

Then we had to cross the river to Captain Hook's Lagoon!

Next we had to talk to the animals and go through the magical forest, just like on Sofia the First!

And lastly we had to jump over the crocodiles so we didn't get our hand chomped like Captain Hook did.

The treasure hunt was a hit, my friends and I did it a bunch of times and got lots of gold doubloons.  I was pretty excited when I found out they were filled with CHOCOLATE!!!

As for the rest of the decorations, they were a ton of fun too.  Daddy filled up a LOT of balloons for my friends and I to play with.  We LOVE balloons!

Of course there were cupcakes.  Pirate ships...

and Princesses!!

Here are some more decorations...

For party favors we had treasure boxes, pirate eye patches, princess crowns, tattoos, and rings!

My mama sure does love decorating for a party.  She even made cute invitations!

Hope you all are enjoying the cold weather,

Happy Birthday Part 1: Birthday Photos!

I think Mama's favorite part of me getting older is having an excuse to get family photos!  I know these have been posted on facebook but I thought I would add them to to blog just for good measure!

Aren't I a little model?

I love cuddling with my Mama...

It was REALLY cold so we ran outside really fast to take a couple photos.  They turned out great!

Mama says I am such a cutie!

The photographer has chickens.  Did you know they like to eat cereal?  I know that, because I got to feed them!  Turns out they like lots of people food, even yogurt!

I decided to show my sassy side...

And my sweet side.

This is Mama's favorite!  I got to play with fake snow, it was a ton of fun!!

Have a great night!

Polish Party!!

Is it just me, or do ALL girls love finger nail polish?

The other night after bath Mama surprised me and let me pick out nail polish!  After a lot of consideration I picked blue, then pink, then purple, then orange, and then I settled on blue.  Mama paints my fingers and toes in the bathroom so we don't get polish on the carpet on accident.  And we use my step stool as a table!  It is pretty hard for me to move my legs, I think Mama might have done that on purpose.  She says I have to be careful not to wiggle too much, that is pretty hard for me!

Finger nail polish makes me feel like such a big girl!
