Playin' in the Rain

Today has been one rainy day!  I woke up rain and I don't think it has stopped for long today.  The only good thing about rain is all of the great puddles!!

It wasn't exactly warm out there, but I just couldn't resist!  I put on my warm jacket with a hood and my cute pink rain boots and I was set!

I sure love being outside, I hope it warms up soon so I can do this again!

Have a good Week!

My New Ride

I hope everybody has been enjoying the beautiful Spring weather we have had the last week, I know I have.  If I had my way, we would be outside all day, everyday!  Unfortunately, Mama says I have to eat dinner and go to bed at a reasonable time...she is No Fun some days!!

Anyways, to celebrate the start of Spring Mama and Daddy took me to Walmart and I got to pick out my first bike!!!  It is so cool, it is pink, has fancy training wheels and it goes REALLY fast!!!  I really like when Mama, Daddy and I go for walks up and down the street together.

Have a great day!

More Easter Fun

Two blog posts in one week, guess what that means?  Mama got a new computer!!

To finish up my weekend of Easter fun I thought I would show you the other fun activities I got to do.

One of my favorite parts of Easter is getting to visit the Easter Bunny.  It is just like visiting Santa, but less pressure, I don't have to get a wishlist ready and I don't have to worry about being on the Nice list!  Lots of kids are scared of the Easter Bunny, and I just don't get it.  He comes to my house while I am sleeping, brings me chocolate and fun presents, and hides eggs for me to find!

Of course, it wouldn't be Easter without decorating Easter Eggs.  Last year Mama was worried about me spilling everywhere so she got me a fun egg spinner thing, but this year I got to be a big girl and dip them just like a Big Kid!!  It was a little too messy for Daddy, but Mama and I had fun.

Every year Grandma Nancy's church has an Easter Egg Hunt and it is a TON of fun!  Here I am in my Easter Dress ready to hunt some eggs!

Before the egg hunt we got to watch a movie about Easter and how Jesus died on the cross to save us.  Afterwards we got to go hunting, this year we got to find 35 eggs!!!  Most of the eggs were normal eggs, but every kid got to find one special egg.  The special eggs didn't have anything in them, but that was Ok.  When you found it you were supposed to open it and shout REALLY loud, "JESUS has RISEN!!" and then everybody around you would say, 'He has risen, Indeed!!!"  The empty egg was to remind you of the empty tomb.

Look at how full my basket got!

It was a lot of fun getting to open them up, there was candy, stickers, bracelets and all sorts of other fun things.

The Easter Bunny came to my house too, but Mama doesn't have any good pictures from that.  He was a pretty tricky bunny and some of the eggs were really hard to find, good thing Daddy knew where they all were.

Hope you have a good weekend!

Easter Sunday

I think the best part about Easter is getting to wear my pretty Easter dress, and once again, Mama made it for me!!  Mama didn't get any pictures of me standing up, but as you can see, it is pink with lots of ruffles!

Easter Sunday was also special because church had doughnuts!  Daddy and I check every week but most of the time we get there too late, but not this week!  I decided to have one with white frosting because I didn't want to get chocolate on my pretty dress.

Mama also made Baby Katie a matching dress so she could go to church with me.  She did a great job of sitting quietly and singing the songs with Mama and me.

Hope you all had a great Easter Sunday!

Easter Vacation

Happy Easter Weekend!

Sorry I have been MIA from the blog, our laptop broke and Mama and I are having a hard time remembering to go downstairs and update our faithful followers.  Never fear, I am back and going to try to do better!!

Gretchen had the day off on Friday so I got an extra stay home day with Mama and Daddy!  It was a great day, Daddy let me watch Frozen and we played games together.  Later in the day Mama and I did some fun crafts!!

It is amazing how many crafts you can do with paper plates!  We made Easter Baskets...

And fluffy bunnies!!

Not only did I get to cut out the ears, but I also got to glue!!  I REALLY love to glue!

Look how cute our projects turned out!  The Easter Egg Hunt sign was a project from another day.  That craft involved my other favorite project activity, Painting!!  My bunny is in the middle and my basket is the one on the right.

After our project we had to clean up, and thanks to my little vacuum, even that is fun!  Mama said I am a really good cleaner because I fit under the table to get all of the little pieces.

Do you guys know who is coming tonight??  The Easter Bunny!!!  I have to go to bed so he has plenty of time to hide a bunch of eggs!

He is Risen!
