Hey Everybody!  Ellen Here!

It has been a rainy and yucky day so I thought I would brighten your day with some recent pictures!

Have a great night!

Day Trip to the Zoo

With a beautiful spring day we had to take advantage so we headed to the zoo!  We really love the animal carousel, Ellen picked the Turtle...

and I got the Ostrich!

We love spring at the zoo because it means Farm Babies!  There weren't many babies out, but we still had a great time out at the farm.

The best part is always the tractor wagon ride...

Of course we like to check out the indoor animals too, Ellen really liked the penguins!

We also had a great time crawling through the play log, the animals were pretty interested in us too!

Happy Sunday!

Disney On Ice

This weekend Mama told me we were going to do something fun, and she was right!  We got to go to see Elsa and Anna, Disney on Ice!!!

To make it even better, we were going with Mama's work which meant that I was going to get to go with my good friends, Kaiya and Emma!

It was so much fun getting to see all the people who were there...

Everybody was so excited for the show to start!

Once Elsa and Anna came out everybody went CRAZY!!!

The whole crew was there, even Olaf, he was really funny.

Elsa and Anna were really good ice skaters, it was super fun to watch.

We had a great time, from the bus ride, to the snacks, light up necklaces, costumes, and friends.  I hope we can do this again!

Whats new

Hey Everybody, Ellen here!

It has been a while since Linden has let me post, so I thought I would take the opportunity to tell you about all of the fun things I have been doing lately!

I've been having a lot of fun playing with my Big Sister.  I really love to play with her toys and watch her run around and be crazy.  I love when she dances for me.  I also love when she brings her shiny crowns and princess shoes upstairs.  I have to play with them quick before Mama takes it away, but they are pretty great!

I also got upgraded to a big girl car seat!  I don't really like it any more than I liked my old car seat, but I guess I can see Linden better, so that is good.  Too bad I still can't resist falling asleep in it.

My other new trick is standing, all by myself!  The first time it happened I wasn't so sure about it, one second I was sitting, and then I was standing, so I sat down really fast!  But after a couple times I decided it was pretty neat, now I can stand all alone for a long time!  Daddy wants me to try walking, Mama is OK if I just stay standing for a while.

The other new development is that I am all done with baby food!  Linden and I think Mama is a pretty great cook, and that baby food mush is so boring.  I love fruit, meatballs and peas.

That's all I know, if you like the blog tonight make sure to tell Linden so she lets me post again!

Hoppy Easter

Meeting the Easter bunny was pretty neat, but Easter is full of all sorts of fun traditions.

We got to go to Grandma Nancy's church again this year for their annual Easter Egg Hunt.  It is so much fun, there are TONS of eggs everywhere for us to find.

Ellen didn't really understand the egg hunt thing, she just wanted to play in the empty egg bin and open all of the empty eggs.

Of course, the Easter bunny came to our house while we were sleeping.  Ellen got some great books, an other fun toys.  I got new dance shoes and a dance skirt!

He hid eggs all over the house, he told Mama that all of the blue eggs are for Ellen, and the rest of the eggs are for me.  I'm not sure how Mama got to talk to the Easter bunny, but she was right, all of the blue eggs had baby things inside.

On Sunday we went to church in our Easter dresses.  Once again, Mama made baby Katie a matching dress.  Everybody loved seeing us in our dresses.

For Easter dinner, Mama made triple berry pie, with extra cool whip.  Papa Bob would be so proud!!

Ellen wasn't so sure about it at first...

but after one taste...

she LOVED it!!!!

I think pie and cool whip might be Ellen's favorite food!

No holiday would be complete without a craft.  Mama and I made some fun eggs where you take a balloon, cover it in glue and then put string over the top.  It didn't work very well but we had fun getting all sticky.  And Ellen enjoyed watching us.

Hope you all had a great Easter!

It's All About the Bunny

Spring is here and that means so is the Easter Bunny!!!!

This is Ellen's first Easter and I have been busy telling her all about it.  The eggs, the chocolate, the egg hunt, the chocolate, egg decorating, chocolate bunnies, and did I mention eggs and chocolate?!?

Last weekend we went to meet the Easter bunny and we had a great time.  It was Ellen's first time so I let her sit on his lap and I sat next to him.  Ellen was really brave and didn't cry at all!

The next day we went to church like usual, but when we got home we had a surprise.  Turns out, we were so good when we met the Easter bunny that he decided to stop by early and bring us lunch!

It was really fun, he brought me some tiny peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that were shaped like hearts and stars, plus strawberries, Cheetos and teddy crackers.  He even shared his carrots with me!!!  And all of the food was hidden in eggs.  He only brought Ellen two eggs with sandwiches and fruit.

I can't wait for this weekend.  I get to see both of my Grandmas and Papa Tim.  I just know it is going to be a great Easter.

Have a great night,
Linden
