Snow Day with Grandma and Grandpa

In honor of the big Snow Storm we are supposed to be getting, I thought I would share some snow pictures from my weekend with Grandma Carolyn and Papa Tim.

It was great being up North and getting to play in the snow...they have so much more than we do!

I really like sledding, and I think Maxx does too, except, we were too fast for him to jump on the sled with us...

Grandma Carolyn's house doesn't have much for a hill, but Papa Tim knew how to make sledding fun.  He pulled me really fast, for a little bit...then he slowed down a bit...

After our sledding fun we took a walk together.  I like going to the resort and playing with the pool table, after playing outside in the snow for so long it was great to be inside where it was warm.

That's it folks, keep warm and get lots of sleep, there is going to be TONS of shoveling fun tomorrow!!

Happy Valentines Day!

In case you didn't know, today is Clifford the Big Red Dog's Birthday!!  Happy Birthday Clifford!!

In other news, yesterday was Valentine's Day and it was AWESOME!  We made some really great Valentine Bags, we got to use stickers and color on them.  Isn't mine cute? (By the way, the cute shirt was from my Grandma Carolyn...It is a great twirling shirt...)

We had a pretty great party, we got to play with frosting and candies, and we got to hand out Valentines!  I REALLY liked my Valentine from Annie, she got me Chocolate!!

And Gretchen's had a pretty necklace in it...

To finish the day off right, Mama even made my bath water pink!

It sure was a lot of fun, I can't wait until Easter!
Love,

I need to Leave Mama More Often...

So, this weekend Daddy and I went to visit Grandma Carolyn and Grandpa Tim and we had a GREAT time (If Grandma Carolyn e-mails Mama the photos I will write a post about my weekend).  Mama wanted to get some stuff done so she decided to stay home.  I was a bit bummed but when I got home I decided it was worth it...Mama missed me like crazy and went shopping!

I am sure I have told you about my Daddy's love for camping, I have never been camping but I sure do love to play with his tents.  Mama decided that it was time for me to own my own tent, and what better than a Princess Tent!!

As you can see, it is pretty cool, It has a door on one side, a window on another, and a neat tunnel on another.  Jake and Bella didn't do very good with the tunnel in obedience class but they must have been practicing over the past few years because even they wanted to play in my tent!  The best part of the tunnel is that I can park my stroller in it like a garage.

Mama snapped this photo right after one of my big shopping trips, I got so much stuff that I had to leave Baby Katie at home so I could use the stroller part to haul home my stuff, and look at all the bags on the handle!

Now I must go to bed, rumor has it that Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Bob are coming tomorrow!

Check out my Turkey-Pine!

I LOVE a good project, I think I got that from my Mama.  Last week at daycare Gretchen came up with a really great project, we made Turkey-Pines!

Gretchen told us all sorts of good facts about them, they have short little legs, and they have long needles on their backs called quills that they use for protection.  To make them we took forks and dipped them in paint and then put it on our Turkey-Pine.

Mama was so silly, she kept touching it and then she would say, "Ouch!!"  Silly Mama, you can't pet a Turkey-Pine...

More fun times to come,
Linden

PS.  Gretchen called it a Porcupine, but I am CERTAIN that she had it wrong and it is really called a Turkey-Pine...Silly Gretchen...
