Girls Day!

Today was a Super Fun Day!!  It was GIRLS DAY!!!!!

Daddy had plans with some friends so Mama and I got to hang out all day, it was great!  Before Daddy left he got my pool out of the rafters and helped Mama and I get it setup.  We may have had the longest winter ever, but it felt like I was in the pool just yesterday, I had a great time!

I played in the pool and sprinkler all morning, it was a blast, Mama said she thought I was going to turn into a fish!
Girls day was an entire day full of fun stuff.  Mama made a picnic lunch for us to enjoy outside.  We had Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches, and I got Puff Cheetos!

After lunch we went inside and I took a REALLY good nap, and when I woke up Mama said we could go to Fairground Park!  I think that is my favorite park, there is plenty to climb, slide, spin and jump on!

We forgot out water bottles at home so we couldn't stay real long, it was REALLY hot out today.  When we got home Mama and I put our swim suits back on and hopped back into the pool.  Baby Wensley liked when I poured water on Mama's tummy so she could play with us.

For supper Mama had another fun surprise, we had a camping supper!

We had hot dogs, pasta salad with olives and pepperoni, and chip!

Of course, I don't think camping supper would be complete without s'mores, and they were delicious!

Once we were done eating our s'mores we had to cleanup all of the toys quick because it looked like it was going to rain, and we didn't get finished cleaning up a minute too soon!  We got really lucky today and had perfect weather!

There was one thing about today that bummed me out, I REALLY wanted Baby Wensley to come out of Mama's tummy so she could have fun with us on Girls Day.  Mama said she is going to surprise us sometime in June, I can't wait!

Have a good night,

Memorial Weekend

Hey Everybody!!

I hope you all enjoyed the beautiful Memorial Weekend as much as I did!

This weekend is all about the lake and it started bright and early Sunday morning when I got to have breakfast on the boat!  We hadn't gotten it in the water yet, but that was ok, it was still pretty fun.

After breakfast we got the boat all cleaned up and brought it to the landing to get it in the water!

Once the boat was in the water it was great!  Daddy let me sit on his lap and drive, all by myself.  I am a pretty good driver, but Daddy said I am too little to drive through the tunnels.  Being on the boat sure makes me happy!

We boated over to the Deck Bar at Arrowwood Resort for lunch.  After lunch Mama and I went to play with one of the yard games and we found a baby turtle!!!

We didn't spend all of our time on Papa's boat, we also ventured out on the paddle boats.  The water is pretty cold still so Mama and Daddy didn't want to go in the water so we took the paddle boat out to the trampoline to play.  I met some really fun friends out there who also do gymnastics.  They showed me all of their tricks, and I showed them mine, they were pretty impressed!!

It wasn't all fun and games, I helped Papa Tim do work too.  Hauling junk with Papa Tim is a pretty fun job.

Later in the day Mama decided it was warm enough out for me to go swimming.  None of the other kids were brave enough to go in the water, but I jumped right in!

To top off the weekend, some of my friends at the lake took me tubing.  I got to sit on Hannah's lap, Daddy used to be her Tubing Buddy, and now she is my Tubing Buddy!!

Daddy was driving the boat too slow so we kept giving him the thumbs up to go FASTER!!!!!!

It was a great weekend and we had a lot of fun.  I can't wait to head back there soon!

Sew Much Fun

I am pretty excited to announce, Mama bought me a sewing machine!  She claims that it is hers, but lets be honest, someday it is going to be mine so we might as well just start calling it mine from the start!

I really like my new sewing machine, it is super easy to use and has all sorts of fancy stitches.  Within just a couple minutes I learned how to put the fabric in, pick a stitch, push the start and stop button, cut the thread and take my fabric out!

Look at all the neat things it can do, it can even write me name!!!

I love when Mama lets me sit on her lap and do projects with her, I can't wait until I am big enough to help make me a pretty dress like she does.

Happy Sewing!

Happy Mother's Day From Queen Elsa

Happy Mother's Day!!

I don't know if you have hear, but there is a new movie out and I am in LOVE, it is called Frozen!  It is my favorite movie, even if I am not watching it I am usually dressed up as my favorite character, Elsa.

A while ago I got an Elsa dress and I spend a lot of time pretending I am her, I even ask Mama and Daddy to call me Elsa when I am dressed up.  My dress is really pretty, but it was missing a very important piece, the cape!!

Mama to the Rescue!!!!  Yesterday we went to the fabric store and Mama made me an Elsa Cape!

Isn't it beautiful?!?!  It is sparkly and goes all the way down to the floor!

She even covered it in beautiful snowflakes, just like the one Elsa wears!

I really love to dance in my Elsa dress, but the cape makes it even better!

It sure is great for Twirling!

Have a great day and don't forget to treat your mom to something special for Mother's Day!
Love,
Elsa

Pine Cone Adventure

Happy Monday!

After a fun weekend it was back to Gretchen's for another fun filled day.  I got to play with my friends and we even got to play outside!

When Mama came to pick me up I found a pinecone!

I thought they were called porcupines, but Mama said they come from trees.  On the way home from daycare we drove past a pinecone tree so we stopped to see if we could find some more.  Mama had an extra paper bag in the car so we brought that to put all of our pine cones in.  The pine cones at this tree were long and skinny, but the needles on the tree were short and pokey.

After we collected all of the pine cones we could find, we got back in the car to go home.  And then we saw ANOTHER pine cone tree!!  I wanted just two more pine cones so we stopped, brought our bag, and went searching for more pine cones.  These trees had short, fat pine cones, but the needles were long and skinny.

We found one more pine cone tree on our way home, it was at Grandma Darlene's house, so we stopped there and said Hi to her husband and asked if we could hunt for pine cones.  Their tree didn't have any pine cones on the ground, it must have been a different kind of pine cone tree because the needles were short but really soft.

When we got home we emptied our pine cones out of our bag to play with them.  Mama wrote my name with pine cones, and I used a needle to make a cat toy with another one.

Tomorrow is supposed to be another nice day, I can't wait to see what adventures are in store!

Fancy Eating

One place we like to eat when we go to Rochester Is HuHot!  It is a really fun place where you get to pick your ingredients and then some guys with fancy cooking skills make your food in front on you and then you get to go back to the table to eat it.  I really like all of the yummy food, I get lots of different meats, plus all sorts of yummy veggies!

This last time we were there I saw a lady sitting next to us eating with sticks so I asked if I could try.  She had an extra pair and was excited to let me use them, she called them chop sticks, but I don't think they would chop very well.

It didn't take me very long and I got pretty good at it!  Baby corn was the easiest, and noodles were almost impossible!  But it sure was fun trying!

See ya later!
