Happy Halloween!

I think Halloween might be my favorite holiday!!

It started a couple days ago when I got some yummy Halloween treats from my Auntie Wendy, Auntie Missy, and Cousin Tyler!  Have I ever told you how much I like chocolate?  Another thing I like, is getting mail!  I got a couple really cute cards in the mail.  How neat is it that my Auntie can send me something and she doesn't have to drive here!?!?

Yesterday we had a pumpkin carving play date with my friend Declan.  Not sure how we didn't get many pictures, but it was sure a lot of fun.  Mama had some things we could hammer into our pumpkins and she had fun stickers!  Only the Mamas and Daddys got to use the knives though...

I dressed up as Cinderella this year.  Thanks to my Auntie Megan, I stayed nice and warm!  Don't I make a cute Cinderella Bear?

This is my costume without my warm jacket on.  I even got earrings!  I love that my Mama can make me such pretty dresses.

Here are the pumpkins we carved and decorated.  This is Daddy's, I helped by drawing on it.

This is mine. The pegs we hammered into it don't show very bright, but they glow!  (I decided to take all the stickers off...Check out the first photo if you want to see it fully decorated.)

This is Mama's pumpkin that she carved for me!  I sure do LOVE Sofia the First!

And this is Mama's pumpkin that she carved for her.  I told her to make a silly face!

I got to go trick or treating for the first time and I did great.  I made sure to say it nice and loud, and I remembered my Thank Yous most of the time.  I can't wait to eat all of my candy, though Mama says I will get a tummy ache if I eat it too fast.

Hope you had a great Halloween!

Pirates and Princesses!

This weekend was REALLY busy.

Like I said in my last post, I got to spend the night with Auntie Wendy and Auntie Missy (Cousin Tyler was in Iowa so I didn't get to see him).  Friday night, Mama and Daddy went out for a date so I got to have a sleepover.

Saturday we ate Chipotle for lunch, went to the zoo, and then we checked into the hotel for the night to do some swimming!  Mama didn't catch my new trick on video, but I've gotta tell you, it is GREAT!!

Sunday Mama and Daddy had a big surprise for me, I got to go to Disney Junior Live and see Doc McStuffins, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and Sofia the First!!  Mama made me this cool Sofia dress and she also got me a pretty crown and amulet necklace, just like Sofia's.

The show was at the Excel Center so I had to get my picture taken by Linus.

Here are some photos from the show...First was Sofia the First, she was learning how to be a princess and be a good friend.  She was having trouble so Cinderella came to help her.  Cinderella was my FAVORITE part!

After Sofia was done, Mickey, Minnie and some of the pirates came out and asked if I wanted to dance on stage with them, of course I said "Yes!!"  I didn't do too much dancing, but getting to be on stage with Mickey and Minnie was pretty cool.  Mickey even waved back!

This is the pirate that asked if I wanted to come dance on stage...

After we were done dancing, Jake and the Neverland Pirates came on.  They were searching for the hidden volcano that was filled with gold.

It was a great show, Captain Hook and Peter Pan even showed up!!

It is almost time for the ball, I have to go get ready,

Just Like My Daddy

Auntie Wendy had a cool Barbie Jeep that she asked if I wanted, and of course I said yes!

One day Daddy decided that the jeep was too noisy so he and I decided to take it apart and see if we could make it more quiet.  It was pretty easy to get apart...

But I think we might have missed a few pieces when we put it back together...

At least it is a little quieter now!

Fall Crafts!

It turns out, everybody LOVES fall crafts!  I have been doing a lot of them.

This weekend I got to spend the night at Auntie Wendy's house and she is the Queen of Crafting...(She taught Mama most of her tricks!)  Auntie Wendy had this cool skeleton for me to paint, doesn't he look cool!

Daycare has been full of fun crafts too.  Today we made these fun owl puppets!  First we got to go outside and find leaves, then we got to go inside and glue them together.  Gretchen helps me cut the shapes out, maybe when I am three she will let me use the scissors.

This is the other fun fall craft we got to do at daycare.  We went on a walk and found all sorts of fall items and then we got to make a wreath.  I got to do the glue, but Gretchen had to help with the hot glue.  It sure was a lot of fun!

I hope everybody else is making fall crafts too!

Mexico Part 6: My Trip Book

Sorry, one more post on Mexico, but how lucky are you that you get 2 blog posts in one day!!!

Auntie Wendy started a fun Tradition with Mama when she was a little girl and Mama decided to continue it with me, she made me a Trip Book!

Mama was older the first time she went on a trip with Auntie Wendy so she was able to do it all by herself...I haven't learned to write yet (but I am a pretty good typist!) so Mama had to help me out.

The first page is fun facts about me!  Mama asked what my favorite animal is, and I told her a Goose!

On the fist day it told me about the fun trip I was about to go on...

And each day I had questions to answer.  I also got to color a fun picture on some of the days.  We saw some pretty dancers on Friday so I colored them!

In the back of the book was a bunch of coloring pages that had fun pictures and Spanish words on them.  I got to color these any time I wanted.  I like sitting in the Bali bed to color.

Rojo means Red!

Not sure why this picture got uploaded upside down...but it shows the cool pencil keeper that was in my book!  It had color crayons, pencils, and stickers!  It was even a great spot to keep Katie's passport so I didn't drop it in the airport.

I sure loved having my own book!

Mexico Part 5: How the Pros do it

This post is going to be sort on words, but long on great family photos that will last a .  The resort we were at had a photo studio so they followed us around for a while and captured some great moments.

It was pretty windy but Mama still thought this one was cute. I got to wear my Mexico dress that Mama made, and I got to wear my pretty necklace that I got for Auntie Megan's wedding!

Pretty ladies with flowers in our hair...

Walkin' to the beach...

Playing in the surf...

Have I told you how much I love my daddy?

Maybe it is because he is so much fun!

Enjoy the weekend!

Mexico Part 4: This and That

We had so much fun in Mexico, it is hard to fit it all into a couple blog posts.

This was my 2nd time on a plane, but I still had a great time and loved it.  I was a great traveler and did a great job sitting in my seat and listening to Mama and Daddy.  Baby Katie was a good traveler too, and listened to me.

Our resort we stayed at had a lot of fun activities and shows at night.  A couple nights there were dancers, and one night there were Mari-Bachi Boys!  I loved listening to their music and dancing along.

We didn't let the rain keep us inside our room.  The resort had these fun beds that were covered so we spent a lot of time playing, reading, doing stickers, legos, and coloring in there.  Mama made sure to have something fun for me to do while we were out there, I think she just wanted to read her book.

I spent some time in Kids Club too.  They had some fun craft projects that I got to do.  One day we made colored sand and put it in bottles.  I helped Mama color the salt, and then she poured it into the bottle while I held the funnel.

This is Joanna, she was at Kids Club each day and was really nice.  She made sure that every time I went there I had enough juice, suckers, balloons and cookies!

Another thing we did to pass time while it was raining was play in the hot tub that was on our patio.  Most nights Daddy played with me while Mama got ready for dinner, but I think Mama was more fun, she made bubbles!!!  It was fun getting to take a bath outside each night.

We had a really great room, I already showed you how close to the pool we were, and this is where I slept, I had my own ROOM!!

Mama was worried that I was going to figure out how to get out the patio door and into the pool while she was sleeping so I slept in the bathtub room (no worries, it wasn't the actual bathroom!)

One last story from the trip for now...On all the flights the Flight Attendants were really nice and let me go up and say Hi to the pilots, it was pretty neat.  On the way home the pilots hadn't started their pre-flight stuff so the captain asked if I wanted to sit in the cockpit and pretend to fly the plane!  Unfortunately, I got a little scared and decided to say no.  Mama tried to convince me to give it a shot, but I was too scared.  Oh well, maybe next time!

I have to go to bed.  Only one more Mexico post to go!

Have a great night,

Mexico Part 3: Sail Away

Another busy weekend here, Grandma Carolyn, Grandpa Tim and Auntie Megan came down and we had a blast!  I'll have to tell you about that another time though...

While we were in Mexico Mama found a really great catamaran sailing trip for us to go on and we had a great time!  I don't know if I mentioned it, but it rained a LOT while we were in Mexico, but while we were on the sailing trip the weather was perfect.

The boat was really big and I had a great time walking around and playing on the nets in the front of the boat.  I liked jumping and rolling around, we even got splashed a couple of times!!

It was fun to lay down and watch the waves, but I couldn't do that for too long because I didn't want to fall asleep...

We sailed from Cancun to Isla Mujeres where we had time to eat lunch and play in the ocean for a while.  Mama decided to relax and enjoy the breeze while Daddy and I played in the sand.

On the island there was a place where we could get in the water and pet a shark!!  I even got to kiss him, he was pretty neat!

I loved the tropical blue water and the fantastic views.

I think the highlight of the trip was getting the drive a golf cart all around the island.  We went all over the place and had a great time.  I think Papa Tim needs a golf cart like this one...

Have I ever told you how much I love riding in golf carts?!?

Hope you have a good week!
