Happy Day for Grandpa

Hope everybody had a great week!  I decided you could use one last blog post before the weekend, so here goes.

Monday was a pretty exciting day for Grandpa Bob, it was his last day of radiation!  Basically it is a normal appointment, but at the end you get to come out and ring a bell to celebrate your last treatment.  I was a very lucky girl and got to go over to celebrate with Grandpa Bob too!  I even brought him a baloon!

Grandma Nancy, Auntie Wendy, Auntie Heidi and the kids she nanny's for, and Mama and me were all there.  I think Grandpa Bob was pretty excited to be done with radation, it means he doesn't have 1-3 appointments every single day.

Afterwards I got to go to Grandpa Bob's house and play with his money in his piggy banks, Grandpa Bob sure does like his piggy banks!!  And then we got to all go out for lunch.

Have a great weekend!

Breakfast on the Farm

On Saturday Mama, Daddy and I went to see Grandma Nancy, Grandpa Bob and Auntie Heidi at Breakfast on the Farm.  Grandma Nancy took Auntie Heidi and Mama every year when they were little, and Grandpa Bob always drove the bus.

Breakfast on the farm is part of RochesterFest.  It allows city kids a chance to go to a real working farm and see how things work and where our food comes from.  The weather was cloudy and a little cool, but it still was a great day.

Here I am waiting for the bus to show up to bring us out to the farm.  Auntie Heidi let me wear her purse, aren't I such a big girl?

Right away when we got to the farm we had breakfast.  They served pancakes, and sausage, I even got some orange juice!!  This farm was a dairy farm, but they also had a little petting zoo for the day.  I really liked the soft alpacas.

There were lots of baby cows.  This one here was only a week old.

The farm had lots of fun activities.  They had a hay ride that was pulled by horses.  We didn't go on the ride, but we did get to pet the horses.  They sure are big.

The farm also had a lot of tractors that I got to climb on and pretend to drive.  I really liked this fun lawnmower, Grandpa Tim would be so proud!

We had a really great time.  I loved getting to run all over the place without having to hold mama's hand.  I also liked getting to see all the animals.  Here is one more picture, Auntie Heidi found me a silly cow hat...Aren't I cute!!

Have a good night!

Sprinkler Fun

The weather has been great and we have spent TONS of time playing outside in the water.

Mama found this really neat sprinkler, it is a tube that fills with water and then has little holes that spray up into the air!

I really liked marching around in the middle because there was lots of water and it splashes.

I also learned that if I step on the tube the water sprays extra high and goes all crazy!!

It was really hot out so Bella decided to use my sprinkler to get a drink.

I decided to give it a try, but it is a lot harder than it looks...

Another great day, another reason I love summer!

Mama says I'm a Cutie

It has been 10 days since I last posted...Part of the problem is that I don't know how to count very high so it took me a long time to figure out how long it was since I posted last...The biggest problem, the longer it took me to figure it out, the higher it was that I had to count.

Anyways...Since it has been a while since you have seen my smiling face I thought I would share some cute photos of me...I'll be back with some real posts soon...

Happy Thursday!

Buckle Buckle

I would like to introduce you to my latest passion - Buckles!!  I LOVE Buckles.  Stroller Buckles, High Chair Buckles, Swing Buckles, Backpack Buckles.  If it has a buckle, I am happy.

Mama surprised me one morning with a new blankie...a Buckle Blankie!!  Mama is pretty amazing, she found a way to combine my love of buckles with my love of blankies!  And if you ask me, it is pretty cute too!

I am pretty good at buckles so it doesn't take me very long to get all five of them buckled.  Unfortunately, I don't know how to unbuckle them, but mama and daddy are always there to help.

Here are some pictures of my new blankie

Not only does it have buckles, but it also has zippers on it too!

And for when I am really looking for a challenge, there are even cute buttons in the corners.

I can't wait to see what mama comes up with next!

Pool Party - Take 2

With the weather being so nice Mama and Daddy got out my swimming pool again!

I love splashing in my pool, although I think Mama and Daddy need to invest in a slightly bigger pool.  Last year I fit much better, but this year, I am WAY too big!!  Either way, I made the best of it.

The best swimming snack is definitely animal crackers.  I love animals crackers!

I can't wait to go swimming again soon!

Memorial Weekend

I know, Memorial Weekend was a full week ago, which means I should have posted about it sooner, better late than never   :-)

It was a great weekend full of family, fishing, swimming, relaxing, projects and fun.  We were having so much fun we didn't take a lot of pictures, but here are a few:

The highlight event of my weekend was getting to play in the lake.  It. Was. AWESOME.  Mama and Daddy got me a life jacket so I can play in/by the water without them having to hold on to me the whole time.  The minute I was on the beach and saw the water I went RUNNING in.  Mama wasn't sure if I would like it because the water was kinda cold but that didn't slow me down one bit.  Auntie Heidi was the only one brave enough to get in the lake with me.  We played and splashed and she spun me in circles, it was fantastic.  After about a half hour mama made me get out, turn out shivering and blue fingers isn't a good thing...

I do have to give daddy some credit, he did step in the lake and play with me a little bit too...

If my Cousin Tyler were writing this post he would tell you that the highlight of the weekend was getting to go fishing.  He spent a TON of time on the lake and caught enough fish for all of us to eat fish for lunch on the last day.  Here is a picture of Grandpa Bob and Cousin Tyler.

Grandpa Tim and Grandpa Carolyn were nice enough to rent a pontoon for everybody to play on.  Here is a picture of everybody on the boat:  Great Grandma Joan, Auntie Wendy, Grandpa Bob, Autnie Missy, and Cousin Tyler, and Daddy is on the dock!  (Mama said I couldn't go on the boat because the fish hooks and lures were too dangerous)

Grandpa Bob gets some pretty good treatment at the resort, every place he goes he gets to go by golf cart!  I was lucky enough to get to ride along sometimes too.

Here is a picture of me, my Cousin Tyler and Grandpa Bob.

I am so lucky to have a family that can make time to be together.  We were able to get some good family pictures down by the lake.

And lastly, a picture of Mama and Grandpa Bob.

I hope you all had as much fun as I did!
