Let's Eat!

Another Shorty, yet, another goodie!

Daddy made dinner tonight for me while mama was going to pick up Hailey.  I have been working really hard to figure out how to use a fork and spoon...Look at my skills!!

Have a good night!

Happy Birthday Kaiya!!

In an effort to return to blogging I am going back to where I left off after my Birthday.  The next round of posts might be out of order, but better than nothing!!

Onto today's post.  I have talked about my good friend Kaiya in previous posts.  Turns out, her birthday is one week after mine!  She invited me and mama to go to the Children's Museum with her to celebrate her birthday.

It was a pretty fantastic day.  They have a toddler room that is built specially for kids our size!!  It had lots of places to climb, explore and learn.  It was broken up into different habitats (the room is called Habbi-tot).  Here is a picture of Kaiya pretending to be a baby birdie in the woodland area.

I really enjoyed moving around and exploring with the bigger kids.  They really seemed to like the hole in the tree...I'm not sure why...it was just really dark and nothing was in there.  Maybe I'll understand when I am older...

There were lots of big windows, and we were up really high.  I decided to take a break and watch all the little cars and people down below.  Some big kid was having a great time outside, there were lots of cars driving all over the place!!  While I was relaxing during my break I pondered the quote on the wall, part of it is cut-off on the picture but it says "A new perspective is its own reward"

After my break I decided to learn about seasons.  The leaves were made out of magnets so they stuck to the tree.  It was a lot of fun!

Kaiya and I decided to finish up the day playing in the wetlands.  Don't we make cute frogs sitting on our lillypad?

Happy Birthday Kaiya!

In a Funk

Mama is in a funk.  And I need mama to help me blog.  But we have a plan, and that plan includes a return to blogging.

I don't want to go crazy with my first blog post, so I am going to stick with a daycare photo from today.

It got up into the mid 50's today!  Which, for Minnesota, in early March, is pretty amazing!!  We spent plenty of time outside playing and we even got to go for a walk!  Here is a picture of me mowing (I take after my Grandpa Tim!!)

Happy Tuesday!

Weeeee!!!!

I have to start this post with an apology, I have been SO busy learning new things that I just haven't had time to slow down and post about it.

As many of you will remember, for my first birthday I got a slide, it was a pretty cool gift, but I just wasn't sure how to use it on my own...turns out, practice makes perfect!

I LOVE my slide!  Tonight I went down my slide at least 473 times in a row (I haven't mastered counting yet...it might be closer to 10).

I promise I am going to try to be better about posting,

Bonspiel Weekend

One year ago I attended my First Bonspiel.  I don't remember any of it, but mama said we had a great time.

Last weekend was Bonspiel Weekend again and it was great!  It was a very busy weekend, Auntie Heidi came over on Friday so mama could go out with a friend and so daddy could start curling.  I love when Auntie Heidi comes, she is tons of fun and we always have a great time.

Saturday was busy too...Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Bob came over for lunch at Famous Dave's.  Daddy had curling, of course.  And mama was meeting up with friends for a girls night in the cities!!  Auntie Heidi and I didn't want to miss out on any fun so we decided to go swimming at the water park!

Sunday Auntie Heidi, mama and I went down to the curling club to watch daddy's last match (curling on Sunday is pretty special, only 4 teams make it that far!!)  After the match mama let Auntie Heidi take me out on the ice.  It was VERY slippery.  I really wanted to give curling a shot, but I think my stone was broken, I couldn't get it to move!!

Daddy told mama that they needed some treats for Saturday night, she wanted to do a couple pans of bars, but I had a better idea.  We made cake ball curling stones!!!

Have a good night!

(In case you were wondering, a curling stone weighs about 40 pounds)

Words, Words and More Words

The past few weeks I have really been working on my words, so I thought it would make sense to write a post to document it.  Don't get me wrong, I have been doing all my own typing over the past year, I just haven't been able to say all of the words yet  ;-)

Right now, my favorite word is definately, "Hi!" but I have a whole lot of other words that I like too.  Here is my list:
  • Hi
  • Hello
  • Jake
  • Down (Jake and Bella like to jump up on me)
  • Night-Night
  • All Done
  • Uh-Oh
  • Oopsy
  • Mama
  • Daddy
  • No
  • Good (If you ask me, "How are you?", I will tell you, "Good", if that is really how I am feeling)
  • More
I really like to repeat words and sounds, so I am pretty sure that in the next month the above list is going to grow a LOT!

I have a video to leave you with, it is kind of hard to hear me, but none the less, it is still pretty darn cute.

Have a good afternoon!
