Too Much Fun at Grandma and Papa's

We went to Alexandria last night to visit Grandma Carolyn, Papa Tim and Great Grandma Joan.  I love going to see them, there is always so many fun things to do.

We got in late last night so I didn't have much time to play, but today was full of adventures beginning at 5am! (Nobody else seemed too excited to be awake, not sure what that was about...)  We played with all of Grandma's toys, and took out all of her games, I even got to color, paint and cut.  We visited Great Grandma Joan and celebrated Papa Tim and Mama's birthdays.

Mama and Daddy went shopping for a while so I stayed back and got to play at the resort.  We put on our snow gear and work boots and went down and walked on the lake.  We also drove around on the golf cart and I got to ride my trike.  Grandma and Papa still have a lot of snow and the ice is still pretty thick on the lake (36 inches).

Daddy's good friends had a baby a little bit ago so we got to go visit baby Sullivan.  He was so tiny!  I really liked holding him and giving him cuddles, but Mama wasn't very good at sharing so I didn't get to have him much.  I did help keep his hat on, fixed his mitts, and gave him his paci.  I was very concerned that he was hungry but his mama said that he just ate, I wasn't so sure.

After all of the fresh air and activity we decided to go out to eat, I don't remember much of supper, we must not have been there very long.

Another great weekend at the lake!  I can't wait for summer to come so we can get the boat out and really have some fun!

Disney On Ice

Mama's work had a fun trip to see Disney on Ice! We got to ride on a bus up to the cities which was great!

Mama let me dress up like a princess and I got to get popcorn!

Our seats were really good, we were so close to all of the characters.

I loved getting to see the princesses skating on the ice, just like the Olympics!  Here is Belle!

There was more than just princesses, but they were my favorite.

Mickey and the Gang were there too!

Here are Jasmine and Aladin...

And Belle in her fancy dress...

And of course, Cinderella!!!

And here is my Prince Charming!!!

The only thing that could make this trip better is getting to spend it with my friends!

Have a great night!

Sledding

With all of the cold weather it is hard to believe that there have been a couple days warm enough to play outside.  We took advantage of one of those days and went sledding!

Mama went down the hill with me too, but as usual, she was the only one to take pictures so all of these are with Daddy.

The hill was HUGE!!  It was a ton of fun!

Even going uphill!  Daddy and Mama didn't think going uphill was too fun though...

Here's hoping for more warm weather!

Big Girl Room 2.0

After lots of asking, Mama finally got some pictures taken and I am ready to debut my new room!!

Mama and Daddy put a lot of work into getting it ready and I couldn't wait to move in!  Mama let me help pick the paint colors and I don't think I could love them more.  Mama made the fun flags to hang up, she got some extra fabric, I am not sure what she is going to do with it yet...

I love my fun curtains.  Mama had to shorten them and add some fabric so my room is darker so it is easier for me to sleep.  I am glad Mama can sew so I can have all these fun things!

Last year, Mama got crafty and made a bunch of art for my wall.  Most of the art worked in my new room, but Mama decided to change it up a bit and add a few new pieces.

I really like it, and I even got to help do some of the painting!!

My new room has a fun little cubby that Mama and Daddy converted into storage for my princess dresses!!  I love that they are easy to reach and are hanging up so I can find them.  I even have a basket for all of my jewelry, shoes and crowns.

Mama and Daddy found me some new sheets.  Mama likes the blue ones the best, I like the pink princess ones.  I guess they were dirty and needed to be washed, too bad Mama couldn't get a picture of them.

Mama also made me a library bag that even has a pocket for my library card.  I like sitting in my beanbag chair and reading my library books.  I also like the butterflies that Mama found.  Some of them are stickers, but some of them are 3D and pop off the wall a bit.

Not only did Mama and Daddy redo my bedroom, they also redid the bathroom downstairs.  Isn't it cute?

Mama also made me some fun hooded towels.  I love the bright colors and I love how cozy and soft they are.  I also like that they are hanging where I can reach them so I can pick out which one I want to use for my bath.

Here is a picture of me when I saw my new room for the first time.  Mama was sneaky and was hiding in my room so she could get a picture of me.

I hope you enjoyed the tour of my new room!

Gymnastics!!

Mama and Daddy signed me up for gymnastics, and I am in LOVE!!  I have had 3 classes and can't get enough, Daddy even let me bring my balance beam from my birthday party inside so I can practice!!  Here are some photos from my first week!  (Mama has to stay by the other parents so it is hard to take pictures because we are in the back so they are a little hard to see)

Here I am in my leotard!

And here is my class getting warmed up before the fun stuff begins.  Stretching is really important in gymnastics.  (I am on the left in the blue shorts.)

I really like the balance beam.  Sometimes Coach Whitney holds my hands, but I like doing it on my own the best.

Part of gymnastics class is taking turns. I am pretty good at sitting and waiting while my friends go.  I know a lot of the kids in my class so it is a lot of fun!

I really like the bars and I can't wait until I am big enough to go on the high bar!  Coach Evan says I do a really good job at pointing my toes and keeping my legs straight in front of me!

I sure love gymnastics and I can't wait to go back!!

Hope you are keeping warm!

An Update on Baby Wensley

I haven't given an update on Baby Wensley in a while, so here you go!

First of all, I LOVE her name, did you guess that I picked it out?  Every once in a while I overhear Mama tell Daddy that I am going to be sad when I find out her name isn't really Wensley, but I it is such a great name, why would we pick anything else??

Mama got to go to the doctor and see her again and the doctor said she is growing right on track.  Mama started having contractions at 17 weeks so her doctor is keeping a close eye on her, but as of right now everything is going well and there is no cause for concern.

I think Baby Wensley is going to have blue eyes and blonde hair, just like me!  Mama and Daddy think her eyes will turn brown and she will have brown hair like Mama.  Mama says she is really active in her tummy so I think she is going to like gymnastics, just like me.  But I also think she is going to be trouble.  Speaking of Mama's tummy, Wensley sure is growing big!!

Did you know that I have a baby in my belly too?  She is growing big and strong, just like Wensley!

I can't wait for all this snow to melt, Mama told me that Baby Wensley will come live with us once summer is here and when we can go on Papa's boat!

Stay warm!

Do you want to build a snowman?

It has been pretty warm here the past few days, especially considering how cold this winter has been, so when Daddy told me we were getting snow today I didn't believe him.  Man, did it snow!!  This week has been great, we have been able to play outside a couple times.

After dinner it only seemed right to head outside and build a snowman!  Daddy wasn't very helpful, but I think Mama and I did a pretty good job.  We didn't have any carrots or coal for a face, but like Mama always does, she found some pretty good sibstitutes.

The picture was hard to get because the snowflakes were so big, it was really coming down!!

I hope everybody else was able to get out and enjoy the snow before it gets cold again!
